Lets face it, you bought the game and although it is fun, you are jealous because your new toon does not have any gold. World of Warcraft is an extremely challenging game to play even though the makers have attempted to make it as easy as possible to keep the gamer interested. The problem that I found when playing was that it was difficult to gather gold. Hours and hours are spent playing the game yet by then end of the time, only a few silver pieces are in the bag.
So, what did I learn that helped me multiply those silver pieces into gold? Let me share with you some great gold gathering tips:
Farm like crazy, but only when you are in the mood. Farming is the equivalent to killing the same monsters over and over again in a specific area and collecting the coin and items they drop. This can be lucrative only if you have the time and patience to do something very repetitive. If not, skip farming and go to the next one.
Gathering. Pick a profession and begin gathering or harvesting the materials required. If its mining, then mine like crazy. If its herbalism, then start harvesting those flowers. The bottom line is you need to build your profession fast and start selling your products. For example, herbalists combined with alchemy can make potions. Powerful potions can help even the most experienced players if used correctly. Sell them!
Questing. Start collecting quests like they are candy. Once you have a good handful of them, go and complete them. You generally will end up killing a bunch of monsters and get coin and item drops as well as the quest reward at the end. Serious money can be made here.
Find someone who has a high level toon and ask them to take you through some dungeons that they can handle alone. For example do a Deadmines or Stockade run when you are lower level with a higher level toon. Having friends in World of Warcraft is key. When you yourself get up in levels, you'll be able to do these runs alone and compound your earnings.
During the lower level times, collect everything and resell it. This will quickly add up your money.
Check out what is selling at the auction house for good money. Find some items that are selling hot and try to get them yourself to sell.

Making Gold With Dark Iron Ore in World of Warcraft

There are dozens of ways to make large sums of gold in World of Warcraft in short periods of time. This particular method allows you to make upwards of 30-60 gold in an hour by mining Dark Iron. It’s not just a myth, you can make this method work for you.
Dark Iron itself is a very rare mineral used for high end items. It is also used for reputation gains with the Thorium Brotherhood and for both reasons can be sold for a very large sum of gold. However, finding it can be very hard unless you know where to look. There are only two locations in which you can find it – Blackrock Depths and Molten Core, and because Molten Core is devoted as a raid instance, you cannot simply enter and steal items.
So, that leaves you with Blackrock Depths. To enter the door immediately located at the entrance of the instance, you’ll need to pick the lock or have the Shadowforge key. Either way, you must get through that door. Keep walking until you reach the Dark Iron Highway, where you’ll be making your gold.
The monsters in the area are rather strong so you’ll need a couple friends along with you or a character capable of sneaking in such as a Rogue or Druid. Either way, don’t let yourself get caught alone near the ore as you’ll be going through here a lot. In each pass through the area you should be able to pick up one or two instances of ore. The monsters themselves are as random as any other map in the game. If you see too many monsters around a particular ore point, just reset the instance and try again.
For those that are using stealth to sneak through the area, beware of the bloodhounds that stalk the highway. They are not only incredibly strong, but can sense your stealth from a pretty decent distance. They are weak though, so if you are properly prepared, you should be able to go solo and take them out without much issue.
The method, when used properly, will yield upwards of 20-40 dark iron an hour. This is a lot, considering the going rate of dark iron ore – 1 to 4 gold. If you keep at it for a couple days or more you can buy anything you’d want – even that epic mount. Don’t be surprised either to find a Blood of the Mountain rare drop in your Dark Iron Ore veins. This incredibly rare bonus will sell from anywhere between 40 and 90 gold and might show up as often as every 200 times, which if you’re mining for a while isn’t all that rare.

World of Warcraft - Which Loot Distribution System is the Best?

We all play World of Warcraft for many reasons but the actual bottom line is that we are there for the loot. We join pick up groups for the loot. We join raid guilds for the loot.
Loot is the driving factor for any guild type that conducts organized raids. Most of the high end loot is attainable only by organized raid style guilds therefore these guilds need to have a loot distribution system.
1.) Assigned Loot System
In this system the Guild Leader or Raid Leader decides how loot on a given raid is distributed. There are a few things that should be taken into account by the person in charge of loot distribution.
* How long a member has been with the guild?
* Are they active members who attend raids?
* Who needs the item the most?
The majority of MMO gamers are not in favor of this kind of loot system because it usually ends up being the "Good Ole Boy System". In this type of system those who are a good friend of the person in charge of loot distribution usually get the good stuff. If you are not a buddy with them then you get the good stuff AFTER their friends do.
I have been in many guilds in my 10+ years of gaming and have never found one who used this system to be completely fair. I am not saying that it cannot be done, only that I have never seen it done.
2.) Random Number System
Most gaming systems have a feature that will allow everyone to roll a random number. In this system everyone rolls and the highest number gets the loot.
Though this system might seem fair which in a sense it is since it gives everyone an equal chance at the item. There are some serious drawbacks to using this system though.
Class specific items may not go to the classes that actually can use them or even use them at all. This keeps needed equipment out of the hands of those who need it the most. Suppose a priest only staff drops and it is won by a warrior, what is the benefit of that. Your priest could definitely use the item and all the warrior can do with it is sell it.
3.) Need Before Greed
This system is kind of like the Random Number System but with a twist. In this system the only ones who may roll on the item are those who actually need it. This allows items to get into the hands of players who need it to improve their character.
While this system is better than the Random Roll it still lacks. It does not reward those who have invested time in the guild and attended many raids a better chance.
It is not fair for a new member to get "The Sword of Ultimate Noobness" on their first trip when there is another player standing there who has attended every raid since the beginning of the guild who needs it.
4.) Point Based Loot System
This system is known as "DKP" to many long time MMORPG players, and is fair to everyone involved. It rewards player based on their dedication and participation.
Players earn points based on attendance, bosses killed, and time in zone etc. They may then spend these points to purchase an item that drops from a mob.

On the first page of their website it states that there is a 30 day money back guarantee. None of the players I have spoken with have been able to get their cash back. In fact email messages to the company go unanswered. So much for the advertised support.
While you can change the stats on items, boost your health and mana to 100,000 at least visually it is reported that the change is only visual and has no effect on the game. Many reported that the only the appearance of their stats looked different, the game itself was unchanged.
The company would like you to believe that you can change the game with just a few clicks of a user friendly program. Those who have purchased it have stated that the program is horribly complicated and the instructions that are sent with it are completely inadequate. No one that I spoke with was able to get the program working as advertised.
My opinion of WoWAdvantage is that it is a complete scam. I base this opinion on the fact that I could not find one satisfied customer.
Are you considering purchasing this program? Do yourself a big favor first and use your brain. If this program performed as it promises why would it be sold for $25, or even sold at all? If this program performed as advertised the developer would keep it a secret and use it to create super accounts that could be sold for considerably more that the price of the program. Even if it did work how long do you think it would be until Blizzard shut it down?
If you want a game on easy mode then go back to playing single player games on your computer where you can get hacks and codes for everything. On the other hand if you want a truly challenging experience then play the game how it was meant to be played.

World of Warcraft Mods - What Is The Big Deal?
If you have never heard of the term, World of Warcraft Mods, then we will explain to you exactly what they are and why so many gamers simply must have them.
So what exactly is a World of Warcraft Mod? Simply put, mod is the condensed name for the term modification. Usually meaning to amending, or partially change some attribute of something. With that being said, a World of Warcraft Mod is a modification to the original way the game was designed to run.
